I just finished a Starbucks. Is coffee good for me or bad for me? I have lost track. It used to be neutral. My parents generation never thought about it. Then it was bad, then good, then bad, and the last I heard was good. I am sticking with good. Should I order fish in a restaurant? It used to be way better than ordering red meat. Remember? Not anymore. Too much mercury. Stay away from the fish. OK, I like red meat better anyway so I can deal with that. But bottled water seemed like a no-brainer. Pure, from an underground spring. Perfect. Now it is the plastic container that will kill you. Watch out for the number 7 on the bottom of your plastic bottle. Don't leave them in your car or they will get too hot and you know what that means...a painful death of plastic poisoning I am guessing. Now, I am into being healthy. I like staying in shape. But holy cow, how does anyone stay up with all this without getting completely paranoid. I am going to go back to my grandparents day where they ate eggs (with the yokes- they never heard of egg whites) and 6 strips of thick bacon and didn't break a sweat the last 50 years of their lives. My point is this...I am glad I don't have to watch everything in this world in order to live forever. One day I will get sick...very sick. I don't know if it will be from plastic or cell phones or mercury or chicken steroids. But one day I will get so sick this old body no matter how many miles I bike will fold up like a cheap suit. The good news is that is when real life will begin. I will wake up and the face I will see will fill my heart to the brim. I will leap up and the cheers will echo in the heavens and word will spread throughout the celestial neighborhoods that Joe is finally home. I will get a new body that will be impervious to all the poisons and even the paranoia of this world but I will hardly even notice because I will have the face. The Face of God that I have longed for every day of my life will be mine and he will never turn away from me again. So, I will order the fish, drink out of my #7 plastic bottle, talk on my cell phone and think that one day death itself will be my ticket home.

Great one. You sound like Paul!
Joe,
I agree. I CAN'T WAIT to go!
from,
You-know-who
Joe-
All I know is that when I've been driving on the expressway for several hours my Starbucks keeps we awake. It sure would make the trip go a lot faster if I could just doze off and sleep but the other travellers on that same road may see things differently.
In that respect coffee is good! I'm sticking with that! I think the drivers in the other lanes would agree.
Fruity Pebbles.
