A call to sacrifice is a good call. It runs against my natural tendency. The willingness to sacrifice is difficult for evolutionists to explain. There is no reason for sacrifice in "survival of the fittest." It is the call of Jesus so it is our call. I would like the Beyond Our Dreams campaign just for the opportunity to sacrifice.
"But in this we shall be remembered
we few, we happy few, we band of brothers
for he who sheds his blood with me this day shall be my brother be he ever so vile
this day shall gentle his condition
and gentlemen in bed now in England shall think themselves accursed
and hold their manhoods cheap whilest any speaks
that fought with us upon St. Crispin's Day"
King Henry was a very cool cat.

In my sleep
During my time with God this morning i thought about the verse that says,"God gives to his beloved in his sleep." While I slept God replaced about a billion cells, replenished my red blood cells, kept my heart beating without me even thinking about it and did some weird stuff during my REM sleep cycle no one really understands. I haven't checked with my investments but they may have grown over night as well. I guess the thing that struck me is just that God is good. Really good. He is better at being good than I could even dream about...in my sleep.
